We’ve been hearing the same question from a growing number of B2B companies: “Can we use Orderpicking App if we don’t run a webshop?” Until now, the honest answer was “sort of” — they’d need to upload order data through a spreadsheet or build their own JSON feed. It worked, but it was clunky, often technical, and usually cost more time than it saved.

So we built something better.

A lightweight WMS, built on a platform 60% of the web already trusts

Our new feature is a light version of a Warehouse Management System (WMS), running on WordPress and WooCommerce — the same proven foundation that powers roughly 60% of all websites worldwide. For companies without an online store, that means no new platform to learn, no developer required to get started, and a system that’s easy to find support for.

Set up your products once, then manage everything from one place

Getting started takes one pass through your catalog. For every product, you add an image, title, SKU/EAN/GTIN, a storage location, and current stock — plus box barcodes and quantities where relevant. Once your products are in with accurate location data, you’re ready to work with orders.

Create orders manually — from the backend or the POS

With products and stock in place, you can create an order manually for any customer, complete with their contact details and the products they’ve ordered. Every order stays visible in the system: you can update its status as it moves through picking and packing, and all picking and packing data is recorded right under the order — building a running log with statistics you can look back on.

Orders can be created two ways: through the WMS backend, or through the Orderpicking App POS solution, which lets you scan product barcodes directly to build an order even faster.

Stock that stays accurate, automatically

Every product in the WMS carries a stock quantity that counts down with each order — so during picking, you always know exactly what’s on the shelf. Adding new stock is just as simple, whether you do it from the WMS itself or through the Orderpicking App Inventory add-on.

The net effect: companies move from paper-based, error-prone administration to one simple online system where everyone — warehouse staff and management alike — has immediate visibility into products, stock levels, and open orders.

This is all made possible through the combination of Orderpicking App WMS and Orderpicking App for only 19,95 per month.
